About Our Local Senior Care Agency

Visiting Angels is locally owned and operated, and nationally recognized with over 600 offices across the United States. We opened in Henderson, Nevada in the year 2000, and later an additional office in Las Vegas to serve popular demand. We have over 300 private caregivers spread out throughout the Vegas Valley to assist seniors. We are proud to share that our caregivers have been with us for an average of four and a half years.

Most Popular Senior Home Care Services

By far, the most popular senior service that Visiting Angels provides is personal hygiene assistance such as assisting a senior with a shower, bath or washing up. We also provide dressing assistance. Some seniors need more hands-on assistance with these caregiving tasks while others need prompting or “standby” assistance. Our senior care agency trains private caregivers to provide comprehensive in-home support. We prepare meals and can remind clients to take medication. We also do dishes, change bed linens, do laundry and take the trash out which are tasks that many seniors struggle with into advanced aging.

Offering Family Caregivers Respite

Our respite services give the family caregiver a break from assisting a senior. The family caregiver is typically a spouse or adult daughter or son. When the family caregiver decides to invite over Visiting Angels from our senior home care agency, he or she finally has the time to go shopping or have lunch with a friend. We may assist the senior with specific tasks such as preparing lunch or simply providing companionship while making sure that the senior is safe in your absence.

Specialized Senior Care in Las Vegas

Many of our clients have some degree of memory loss (such as dementia or Alzheimer’s). We train all our caregivers on assisting someone who has memory loss. Our caregivers have a lot of experience in this area. We provide companionship including cognitive and physical activities. We also provide overnight care for clients who have sundowners syndrome.
